Solara rims
I put the winter boots on today. Bought a set of Blizzaks, and a used set of 17" rims from an '04 Solara. I even picked up a set of Lexus centre caps. Other than the car being covered in filth, they don't look half bad.
Where did you get the roof spoiler? Seen this in the past. How much and does it match the body color or at least near? I may want to have one.
......not 100% sure......but there is one very similar to this one available on ebay, maybe Shawn will chime in & let us know........on another note, Shawn when you putting the hood on ???.....your friend in Tx could always use it....lol
I replaced my skid control ecu after the dreaded ABS/BRAKE light issue.Firestone couldn't read ABS ecu, so I took it to Nashville TN stealership, they quoted $3,300 to replace skid control ecu & $2,300 to replace rack & pinion due to heavy, low speed steering issue with ABS.
Short story long, I sent skid unit off for $275 rebuild. Installed it today along with a new Interstate battery (which was bad as well) & all dash lights are off along with all effects are gone. Saving $5,325..........

So I've been crazy busy, but thought I'd update on some of the projects I've completed recently
1. New Interstate Battery (replaced under warranty- free)
2. Back Seat Coat Rack
3. LED Lexus Emblem
4. Trunk RGB LED strips (always too dark when cover in place)
5. Roof Spoiler (from spolierking-ebay)
6. Changed Wind Deflector to RGB LED- no photo
7. Changed driver and passenger window moulding (were torn)- no photo
8. Replaced rear passenger quarter window outer trim (detailer scuffed it up pretty bad and used paint to cover his mistake)- no photo
Shawn,
I like the coat racks you installed. Which ones did you wind up getting?
I like the idea of the trunk lights also. I have the same problem that the cover covers the OEM lights. They should have installed those lights higher. Did you just hook the newer lights up in parallel to the OEM?

thanks. I found them online. There's only one type that have this style. I had to adapt them a little. Had to remove the base and insert the ends into the headrest. As for the trunk LEDs, I did just piggyback off the OEM trunk lights so they only work when trunk opens.
Here was my project done today. I came up with this idea, so this is a Shawn Oklahoma original. I had vinyl decals on my updated Big Brake Kit so I got to think about how to make them get more attention. I reordered the vinyl in reflective white so when passing through intersections or when certain light hits them they shine! Look totally normal in daytime. Check it out and let's see what you think. These are the in process photos... car will get detailed soon.
Gave her a wash and some horsepower today. Now i just need to finish the install. Btw anyone selling a 3.76 lsd auto diff? Well once i get that, then we will have to elminate the speed limiter.
