Thanks for replies. Today I'm cleaning intake with CRC manifold solvent.
new PCV valve, Mobil 1 synthetic oil change, & the transmission fluid replacement via trans lines. Next week I'll be flushing/cleaning my fuel injectors via OTC non dismantle system.

Yes. That's it. Remove fuel pump fuse, disconnect fuel line from tank line under hood near oil filll on my 02 &
You hook it up to air compressor to running PSI, mix gas & solvent cocktail & run till she quits. 1 or 2 applications to fully clean. Several write-ups on here. Thanks

Default Engine Light On

Problem solved thanks this site. Disconnected battery cables, then reconnected. Engine light went out. Thank you.

Did you fix the problem or just disconnect the battery.? If you just disconnected the battery without correcting the problem, the light will come back.

Thanks. I'll be watching it carefully. Was working on the valve cover bolts (tightening them) this afternoon, and might have pushed up against some hoses. Light came on for the first time. Oil and all is good. So not sure why it suddenly came on. Someone on the site said to disconnect the battery cables, and reset. Did so, and sure enought the light went out and never returned. If it comes on again, I'll take it in to the shop. ps: getting to the valve cover bolts is a real pain. Thanks.

Default Improved conditions

I decided that my 2003 SC430 needed a better living environment.. so.. rainy/cool mornings here
kept me off the golf course and in the garage. I have a few more things to do before my
"project" is completed..but so far I think my car is a bit happier!
