Did the paper clip trick and it worked. Both vsc off and vsc lights went off. Drove the car about 1/2 mile and they did not come one. Hope its solved but, will swing by mechanic tomorrow to have him scan for the code again and go from there.

Thanks everyone here for all the great advise.

Keep in mind that when a CEL (Check Engine Light) occurs, the VSC Light will turn on, always. Hence most of us have built a device to turn off the VSC light, have used it countless times, very convenient.
Get an OBD Plug and solder Pins 4 and 14. Now you have a convenient tool.

Got the Lexus logo door puddle lights from Ebay today. Good and bad. The logo fully displays when installed with no part blocked. The bad part, o one side the unit does not clip on to the car and pops

out. Not sure if our door design, part design or what. I do like how they look and even if not fully flushed on one side, they fully display logo and won’t fall off. Just got to find time to fine tune and get them to fully sit properly. Couple of pics.

Added aftermarket hud display from Amazon. The speedometer gauge is so dark and hard to read on daytime and nighttime. Installed unit in a few minutes and got it just right for me. Image may look a little blurry or double in photo but when behind the wheel is as clear as can be.

What's the name of the leather strap that attaches to the top of the back rest and you loop the seatbelt through it. I need the driver side as it was missing when I got the car. Any links to where to buy or part number.

mandyfig, Did you solder a drop on the 4 and 14 pins and/or solder a line connecting the 2 holes in the middle?

The goal is to connect these 2 positions. I do not remember what I did. I do not think you need something to bridge it. The tool has been handy.

wow, which radiator did you get?
The DENSO one is about 80 bucks on Amazon and it's very easy DIY project.

Not sure but my trusty mechanic is doing it and I have no time to do it and lack skills. I am ok to pay and support his business and at the same time know it will get done correct. The crack is about 2" long across the seam between plastic radiator and lid where they join. Scary that I could have easily blown or damage the engine.

Make it a habit to look around your car, to see if any fluid is on the ground. It is a good habit that will reward you a lot. In terms of being ahead of any potential failure. In your case did you see the coolant on the floor? Or you just happen to detect the crack on the radiator?

Not a single drop on the garage found during all this time. When the mechanic was troubleshooting the check engine light and vsc off/vsc light, he found broken cable causing the lights to come one. He did an inspection of the rest of the engine and found the crack across the top of the radiator where it joins the top. He said do not drive it as it can blow any minute and damage the engine. Proceeded to leave the car and have the radiator replaced then and there.
