My console lid color wore out where my arm rests. I removed lid and redyed with a Sem. Came out perfect...picture looks light, but a perfect match in person.
I envy your garage. 3 Cars on the ground and a 4th on a lift! My dream garage. One day...
Thanks. When we built our house I had four cars, now down to 3. The GTO belongs to my brother (winter storage so it did not have to sit outside). The garage is bigger than our entire first house, I wanted a little elbow room. In a pinch and if I leave the garbage cans outside and am careful opening doors i can get another small car on the ground so potentially could have 5 inside.
Dear fellow SC430 owners, the boot/trunk on my SC430 has been resprayed, and the panel beater put the trunk badges back on "by eye". The badges do not seem to be exactly in the original factory position. Would appreciate someone taking the measurements of the position of the left and right badges (refer image below) for me to pass on to the panel shop to rectify.
Also, do you know what the plug circled in yellow is holding conduit/wiring for, and is the plug complete i.e. is it the correct plug/grommet?
The 'plug' in yellow is actually the underside of a pin, I believe. Having just taken apart my front end on my Rx400h to do the rad , I had something very similar(if not , identical) . The pin attaches a cover mounted upside down that looms/wires run through. It looks perfectly fine.
FINALLY got my stubby antenna today and installed as advertised: ' 5 minute job with a 3 minute coffee break included!' . Thank you http://www.theantennasource.com/.
Thank you daddiojigg. Much appreciated. You have given me peace of mind on that pin. Now just need the distances the Lexus and SC 430 badges should be from the bottom and sides of the trunk and distance between the SC and the 430 badges.
It looks fantastic. I hope you're ok with the LED's at night. I did the same thing and completely lost my high beam effectiveness. I've gone back to halogens because of that.
