The problem with my lenses is not the outside. I regularly use McGuires and its clean and smooth. The problem is literally inside the lens with small micro-cracks. I would have to throw the lenses in the oven to remove the outside lens and polish them. Then have to reseal them. Too much of a task for me for the benefits.

Moved to Nevada at the end of February and left the SC430 behind before all the COVID stuff started happening. The car sat at my cousins places and just got it shipped over a few days ago. I washed, clayed, polished, waxed and ceramic coated it.

Before it was shipped

After cleaning

Ceramic coating is the bomb. Nothing sticks except stupid hard water minerals. And the shine just last and last. Had mine done about a year ago and would highly recommend it for anyone who has decent paint. Needs a reputable shop to apply though since complete body prep (Clay Bar and rotary polisher) is required. She looks probably better than when she was new.

Thanks I used the spray Mother's ceramic coat, I did it myself and was pleased with the outcome. Time will tell how long it lasts

Looks GREAT, I just had my car detailed I was going to get a ceramic coat but wasn't happy with the detail. I had them do other cars before but decided to just wait, parked car in storage on Sunday. I felt like I was dropping my first born at college, didn't want to leave her alone. I might stop by after work and check on her.

What happened on the front fender? Also is that dirt or rust on the space between the trunk and bumper? Since getting the ceramic coating do you just wipe off the dirt or dust from living and driving in Nevada?

Thank you

Fenders are fine just a reflection you're seeing maybe? Those were cobwebs and leaves between the bumper and the trunk

I just give it a quick rinse and it's good to go.

Replaced the y-pipe with Megan y-pipe (same as delete 3rd cat) I think the pipe is little bigger than OEM. It sounds louder. I had resonators delete before this.

Matter of fact, I am. I just did my smog check and immediately replaced the y pipe.
I think it might fail visual inspection but won't fail smog check since I still have the 2 main cats & o2 sensors. the 3rd cat doesn't have any sensor.

I would assume that when the technician scans the barcode on the paperwork, the software would tell him what to do for visual inspection.
Or maybe the software doesn't do that because I've not seen anyone doing visual inspection when smog checking my car over the years.
