Ha ! How could you miss the SC infamous roof open. Green does look appealing, doesn’t it?
I've only owned two green cars in my 50+ years of motoring. While I like the color, a friend of mine in the car business claimed green cars are the hardest to sell. He said salespeople believe there is some sort of "bad mojo" associated with the color.
Had a very minor fender bender and my 2004 had to spend a few weeks in body shop hell. Got her home this week and took the grandkids for a cruise! They love riding in back with my oldies music blasting ("Summer's here and the time is right for dancing in the street!"). Right before the fender-bender, I re-foamed a couple of the speakers and had to replace one that was shot -- I'm lucky enough to work at a Lexus dealership, but even with the employee pricing on parts, paid way too much for the one replacement speaker.
The fender-bender was my fault -- not watching closely enough in front with a Suburban turning left (no turn signal), cracked the bumper and front left fender and bashed in the headlight, but the body shop did a nice job matching the old paint on the replacement body parts.
Still looking to find a decent audio upgrade to allow Apple CarPlay, etc., but bought a little FM adapter through cigarette lighter and it does bluetooth phone stuff OK.
I took it to church. Each week I take one of my three drivers to church to keep up the batteries. Today it was the turn of the SC, Last week the LS and next week the Sky Redline. Besides, they need the moral training.

I’m talking about dark green, not light green.
My 91 LS was a black jade which looked black unless under the sunshine.
Cleaned the smog ventilation sensor in front of the car. No sure if anyone cleans this thing at all, but what the heck.
I believe if this sensor smells the bad air, the car turns on the re-circulation air switch to help reduce the smog/carbon smell from outside.
Take about 15-20mins.

I read about this sensor in the owners manual, but wasn't sure where to find it, and, I didn't realize it needed cleaning. Where did you find the sensor located at? Is it behind the grill?
I was going to give this ago today but could not get the electrical connection to disconnect and I was afraid I would brake it so I gave up. Is there a trick to unplugging it? The rest seems pretty straight forward.
just press the lock clip, rock it up/down and then pull out.
I've noticed that the car switches between fresh air & recycle air a lot more while driving. I'm probably clean it every time I replace the cabin air filter from now on.
What did you do to clean it? Just vacuum out the unit and clean/wash the medium?
Clean the plastic parts with soap & water (not the sensor) and clean the filter by dusting it off with my fingers.
I was going to wash it off but too lazy.
I do not suggest vacuuming it, if you are not careful enough, the vacuum probably sucks the filter into the machine, then it's even messier trying to take it out.
I could not get that lock clip for the electrical connection to budge. I am assuming that you just pinch it in and slide it off. But I get no movement what so ever even shaking it up and down while trying to slide it off.

I've had this problem with similar Toyota/Lexus connectors in the past. Try spraying some silicone spray on the connector. The tolerances are tight on these terminals, I believe, to help keep out contaminants, and thus the trouble with disconnecting them.
