Upgraded my garage
#17
Definitely need the wife onboard! Luckily my wife didn't want to get rid of the SC either, but the RC was moving in so going up was the only choice. Glad we kept the convertible since the weather is low 70's next 3 days in December Top has been down all day.

Nice ! Tight squeeze on the top car to the door and light but looks great. I'm thinking about a 4 post for my garage but may build a detached since I have 6 acres. I hear you about zoning crap.....

Rubbing it in...wanted to install the same set up so bad. Did not have the garage spec to be able to get a lift in. Maybe one day I will build an outhouse where I can do this set up. Appears to be the lowest option on cost, instead of buying a house that I can convert like what this showed. Am salivating...

Yep, but my wife won't help me swap cars because driving on/off the lift scares her. I can swap cars in under 10 minutes without help. The bottom car (my SC) is my daily driver and I pull in and out as you would any garage. The top car (my RC) is my touring car driven occasionally. I've had it 14 months and put on 4800 miles. When I want to drive it for a while, I pull it out and put the SC up on the lift. Each time I lift a car, I do an inspection of the underside and use tar and bug remover on the rocker panels to keep them clean. I think having the lift is better than having a 3rd garage bay
