Good afternoon everyone,
I have had my 2004 Lexus SC430 about 4 weeks and am really enjoying it. I also recognize that the car has 115,000 miles on it and after checking Lexus online the plugs have not been changed. I am going to change the plugs but was considering changing the coils packs at the same time because my wife and myself like taking weekend drives that are normally 200-300 miles.
If anyone has any manufactures recommendations on the coil packs that they would be willing to share it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Ron

Ron- you don't need to change your coils now, unless they are going bad. I have 185000 miles on my 2002 and did have one coil go bad back at 78000 miles. If you are doing it for maintenance and to feel comfortable I would go with the original coils, Denso. I would also go with Denso or NGK spark plugs. Are you doing this work yourself?

I like using rock auto. Great prices, able to get the brand you want. If they should make a mistake, they handle it quickly. Way less than the auto parts store usually. The only down side I see is if you can't wait a few days for the parts.
