Well I found out today that I received a bad batch of premium fuel (water) from Marathon last Saturday after filling it up. My friend removed the fuel pump to pump out of the full tank to pump out the bad fuel and after re-installing the pump everything is running well except my fuel gauge is showing full all the time.

He then took removed the pump a second time to reinspect it and it appears to be ok but the fuel gauge is still at the full mark.

Has anyone experienced this before?

sounds like the fuel float might be stuck
