The main concerns are the wheel bolt pattern, wheel center hub diameter and overall tire height.
You need a wheel with the 114.5mm 5 hole bolt pattern with a 60.1 mm center hub. The factory tires are 245 40 R 18 and have a height of 25.7 inches. The mini spare should come close to that height but does not have to be exact due to the expected limited travel during spare use.
The stock SC430 spare tire is 145 70 R 17. That tire is 25.0" in height. Those tires are rare and fairly expensive. A very available alternative is the spare tire from a late model Camry. It has the correct bolt pattern and hub diameter. The mounted spare tire is 155 70 R 17. This tire is slightly wider and 25.6 inches in height. This spare will fit snugly into the trunk mounting space.
Not sure about the appearance factor. A mini spare is not fancy. While the RX 8 spare has the correct 114.5 bolt pattern and looks nice, if you like yellow, it doesn't match the silver or chrome wheels on the SC430. Additionally, it is 125 70 R 17 ( much smaller in height ) and the center hub is a lot bigger at 67.1 mm.
