If this is your first SC and don’t care about not having a zippy sports car you will fall in love with car. My favorite of all time and I’m not young.

Mine didn't come with that. Was it an option in 2008?

maarp

That was a aftermarket vender installed option although that might have been standard on the Pebble Beach Addition?

Default sc 430 purchase

I bought a 2004 last July with 52K miles; timing belt has not been replaced. Paid $15K; condition is excellent. Yours would probably not book for $21K but if you love the car, a couple grand over book is well worth it. I absolutely love the car. If it has original run flats, get rid of them; Michelin sports make a world of difference.

I saw plenty at that price with that kind of mileage.

With 34,000 less miles on the clock on a car that has never seen rain or snow with a former owner who replaced parts based on age, and kept it in a climate controlled garage, I was suckered in. I gladly paid for the difference. Apparently I am not alone, since the former owner told me after we closed on it that he had a bunch of other potential buyers offer to buy it sight unseen like I did, but I had already wired a deposit. I believe him since I had lost out on a car with 12,000 miles on it here in Los Angeles for a similar price. I am planning on putting only a couple thousand miles a year on her.

I agree on the tires.

Just picked up a 2007 Pebble Beach, 68,000 miles, one owner, all service done at the purchasing Lexus dealer, some minor damage history, well repaired. Lived its life, ironically enough, very close to Pebble Beach in CA. Recent tires (unfortunately run-flats) and battery. Timing belt was done at 25,000 miles in 2010 when the water pump was changed, so due based on time. Car was traded-in at a Hyundai dealer in Gilroy, CA. I had missed out on an identical car listed for $28,000 at a Lexus dealer in Seattle with only 8,000 miles. Gone in 12 hours. Saw mine in Auto-Trader on a Friday, Sent a deposit on Saturday, Flew from Tucson to San Jose on Monday morning, rented a car for the drive to Gilroy, paid cash ($17,800 plus tax), drove the 900 miles straight through to Tucson, arriving at 3:30 am. Performed flawlessly (way better than I did). I've been enjoying it since.

Long-winded answer to the original question. $17,800, and glad to pay it, specially when I lay my eyes on that pearl-white car with the red interior.

On February 2nd I purchased a 2002 SC430 for $1,000 Canadian.

Needed a little bit of work - what I've done:

ABS Skid Control Module (Self Installed) ($282.50)
Thermostat and Gasket (Self installed) ($46.31)
Radiator, upper and lower radiator hoses, radiator cap (Self installed) ($225.87)

Working beautifully now.

Total of: $1,554.68

I'll will re-upholster the drivers and passengers seat for approx. $450
Ordered a side mirror housing $250
Timing Belt & water pump kit (will be self installed when the weather is warmer) ($275.38)

All sorted out and really nice looking the grand total will be: $2,530.06 Canadian.

It has 215k on it. I think I got a steal.

2006, Black w/Ecru interior, 48875 on the odometer purchased last week.
$10k US.

Full service history from the dealership, single owner. A few dings on the doors (2 on driver side, 1 on passenger), some spiderwebbing and scratches on the rear bumper where it was backed in to something.

2003 94k miles for $7800

So far I replaced front discs, bearings, pads. New rims and wintertires, alignment, touchscreen head unit, trans mod with flush, brake bleed, oil catchcan, pcv valve, oil change, ps flush and line replacement, and tightened chassis bolts. I've spent about 3k on it after sale price, including repairs, parts, taxes, and registration.
