Bought a 2005 with 14,000 miles for $23,500 in Dec, 2016. There were scratches on the trunk on the driver's side where the previous owner obviously put her purse or bag when she got out. Price included eliminating the scratches.

Looking at a 2003 well maintained, excellent condition with 33,000 miles for 20K, (maybe 18K final), but they will only give me $15,500 for an excellent IS250C 2010. Don't feel like that is a good deal! Thoughts. Only problem is, never have like the yellow trim. Can that be replaced, if so, how much?

2004 SC430 with 73,000 miles
Hi Everyone,
I live here in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Back when the SC430 was new, I thought the body style was unique, ostentatious looking, similar in appearance to the Audi TT.
The car has aged rather well. It's smooth, rounded, upper-crust looks 15 years ago now look modest in comparison with the garish, angular, body designs of 2017.
Aging remarkably well is the quality interior.
I was looking for a Toyota Solara Convertible before I came upon my 2004 SC430 in Pearl White/Saddle, I had seen other SC430s and some of these cars were rough,
hiding body repair - even those with less than 40,000 miles. I think that a 'good previous owner' has much to do with the quality of a used car. My 2004 SC430 is very nice. I personally could not
have taken care of this car as well as the previous 2 owners. Pearl White/Saddle are highly sought after colors here in Florida. I paid $20,600.00 with 73k miles for mine.
On the lot was a Silver 2002 SC430 selling for $18,500.00 with 59,000 miles. Both cars were almost like-new condition, but I liked the White Pearl car more. My car
originates from San Ramone California, then Boca Raton, Florida. Clean car fax showing 2 owners and one dealer.

I love to see pics of your car. I also have a WHC ( White Gold
Crystal) . The WGC is getting harder to come by
I owned a few SC in my days and I really wanted to
Get a Clean Pearl White . It took a while but I finally
Found one as well

Hi Jonas's RX,
There were several WHC SC430s that I looked at. One with about 43000 miles was in Tampa at a Toyota Dealership. It had some body repair, the top didn't open, the interior was dirty.
They were willing to come down to $16,500 but I stayed clear from it. There was another WHC with about 59,000 miles in Sarasota. It was having some dings pulled out, the headlight was being repaired, the
driver's armrest was torn.
I've attached 3 images. The WHC is the one I bought. The silver one was very nice with lower miles but I like the lighter color more so.
Is your interior saddle, black or ecru?

I have the Ecru White interior
I was pretty picky I wanted a clean
WGC . The Pearl White is almost impossible
To match if it was ever repainted .
Here is my 02 with upgraded tail lamps
My 02 had a clean carfax 43K and all
Original paint . If you ever decide to upgrade
You won't be disappointed doing the LED tail lamps

Jonas's 02 SC430
Jonas,
You have a beautiful car! BTW, were the rear spoilers on the SC430s all the same? Some appear as a part of the trunk.
Others appear as if they are glued/bolted in.

Before buying my 02 , I was very close to buying an 07 Pebble Beach Pearl White but after getting the car inspected, it was discovered it was repainted. You can see the rear Q panel was repainted and that was the deal breaker

The rear spoiler was bolted on the rear trunk.
Lexus did import some SC without the spoiler and
there is a slight lip on the trunk and that might be what
you are thinking.
Welcome to the Club.. let me know if you need some
help if you ever decide to do the upgraded LED 06-10 tail lamps
