Default $25k

This includes the 1k fee to Bids and cars. One owner, garaged, 56000 miles, new tires and a c compressor, immaculately maintained at local Lexus dealer. 2005, silver with pearl interior.

i see that the second generation 06-10 sc430’s have held up depreciation wise. The PB’s even better. After inflation is figured in I paid roughly the same 6 years ago. I have a car mod background and after much research I fixed several overall issues that the car exhibited.

Previous owners wife elected to sell the sc and kept their three wheel Harley instead. Hmmmm. What did I not know?

ahh the car wandered on road with it’s cheap Pirelli p1’s and had high tire road noise and steered poorly and rode roughly. Bad tires for this car. I sold them after removal to a BMW 528 driver.

The car had alot of body roll. Too long of springs on shocks. Too small of sway bars.

car on rough so cal freeways deflected on sharp edges. Car bottomed on driveways and big dips. Ahh bad shock dampening setup. Too much high speed compression dampening not enough low speed. The fix was to install a set of MeisterR CRD coil over shocks. Same spring rate but shorter lenght. Gets stiffer quicker, adjustable dampening set at 10 out from full hard fixed the shock bottoming and high speed compression. Still a little stiff so I went with 45 series Michelin tires which rode better and corrected the speedo as it was 3% fast.

Ml stereo is excellent. Radio head is not. Replaced the oem radio with a pioneer AVH 4200. Woke up the stereo. Beat sonic 13-l interface for the steering wheel controls finished that part.

as these are extremely high mile capable the investment to fix the incorrect factory detail makes driving a different experience

oh and a cabriolet rear air deflector greatly reduces the air movement in the cabin with the top down.

previous owner had a Navics backup camera installed which is a great addition.

sorry for the long post but hopefully this helps any 06-10 owners.

oh i changed the headlight bulbs. Whiter light not yellow

I do like the 245/45/18's on the car. I will get a fresh new sets of Continental with 45. As far as the suspension, I'll drive the car a bit more, suspension still feels like new. Other than that, I added a bluetooth device from Amazon to hook up on the 12v hidden in the center console and works perfect for my needs. So far loving the car, I alternate from this and a 08 S2000.

Recently purchased a 2006 SC430 with Nav and ML audio at IAAI with salvage title and 180k miles for ~$7500 with auction fees and transport. Runs and drives perfectly fine, there's some damage to one of the underbody cross members. I've already got the part on order from Lexuspartsnow and am going to pursue getting a rebuilt title on it.

Default Nee Member - 2002 SC430

Just purchased a 2002 SC430 Blue with 225k kms (140k miles) for $10k USD. Came with 4 new winter tires on Lexus rims

Fixed the exhaust, put new breaks and rotors. Runs like dream.

2003 SC430 Black 94,500 miles for $10K purchased from a neighbor in late July. Was provided service records and spoke with the neighbor's Lexus service advisor (now mine) who said the car is in great condition (TB & water pump have been changed, and new radiator and battery installed this past Jan). I changed the tires from run flats and replaced the antenna because neighbor forgot to lower it in a car wash.

Just picked one up near Austin Texas on 9/23/22. Silver over saddle, 64k miles and clean carfax. Timing belt done 6k ago. Has a few dings, but great shape overall. Paid $13,500 private party and $100 tax to Illinois. Drove it 16.5 hours with top down for 12 of them. Drove like a dream. Few days ago saw a leak spot. Had to replace radiator which I did myself for under $350 with fluid and new hoses. Looking for rims and tires currently, too much info on max size, offset etc. Just want the biggest, widest and max offset including max tire size without modification.

I couldn’t find one at that price. Good deal. These private owners won’t let it go for that usually
