I finally picked up my new-to-me 2006 Lexus SC430! It came fresh from the Lexus dealership in Fort Myers, with a new Timing Belt, Water Pump, and Radiator (plus the remaining 90k mile services).

It was a spectacular day in Southwest Florida, and I loved every minute of my 1.5 hour drive back home from Fort Myers!

The car exceeds every expectation I had for an SC430 with 90k miles. The car's condition is exceptional in every aspect! I ended up paying a total of $21,400 for the car, which is not particularly cheap, but the car has been consistently driven 4-5k miles per year by the same extremely careful owner for the past 18 years, and I think that's probably easier on the car overall than one that has sat for most of it's life without being driven (but now has spectacularly low miles).

Anyway, here are a couple of photos I took in my Florida driveway when I got home. Those crazy shiny wheels are actually starting to grow on me, and look like they are brand new.

Just purchased yesterday a 2006 SC430 from a Lexus dealer in St. Louis. I was really lucky in that I wanted to find one in black with low mileage. This one has a little over 61k miles and had a Carfax report indicating no accidents. Paid what I consider a fair price of $18,600.

I purchased a 2007 SC430 (ex JDM) in Dec 2023 for NZD$21500 (about USD$13,000). This was top dollar in NZD - very few have sold for more than this amount from my observations - (being a small country most cars are advertised through one major website (but not exclusively), so it is easy to monitor). We don't appear to have suffered the huge price increased that have occured in USA. Matador Mica Red, with Ecru interior. The colour is stunning in the sun - just POPS. 120,000KM (circa 74000 miles). Great history out of Japan (we can track vehicles through the Japanese) auction system. The car has been recently serviced: new T/B, water pump, tensioners, new rotors and pads. Few mods to be undertaken, mostly to make it easier/enjoyable to drive (reverse camera and bluetooth for music). Being a JDM it comes with a mini-disc player and TV - although the TV does not operate in NZ (NTSC, we use PAL), and the radio does not extend to the same band width used in New Zealand - hence the bluetooth for music etc.

Hey Frank, I have a red '08 with 66K miles. Your deal gives me a good idea of what mine is worth. When I first got mine in 2016, I thought the headlights were too low, but have since gotten used to it, and even appreciate the brightness of the HID headlights. What makes you think your suspension needs work?

Post pics please! Wilson
