how difficult is it to change out the low beams?

I did mine without removing the headlights. The right side was pretty easy after removing the airbox. The left side I unbolted the ecu box to let me move it a few inches bac. It was very tight but gave me enough access to get the job done. Not saying it's better or worse, just another option.

.....if I remember correctly, all the fasteners are the plastic screw in type......I'm not in front of the car, so I'm going off the top of my head. There are screws on the top bumper cover & grill, these are located under the hood. There are also screws located under the car, which are used to connect the bumper cover to the splash pan & there are a couple of screws located behind the front wheel liners (you'll have to move these out of way,to gain access to the screws).....after all are removed, you should be able to remove bumper cover or pull it out far enough to access to the headlights..........hope this helps some & sorry that I can't be a little more detailed, since I'm not with the car right now. If anyone else possibly has pics, this might be of some help also

Just did mine yesterday on an 06. You have to drop the bumper to do it properly. God I hated it. Headlights has 4 bolts; 1 of which is located behind the bumper panel, just above the fender.

If by properly you mean not have to squeeze and contort your hand around to do it. I didn't have much of a problem, but I do have small hands. If I had big mits I'd go ahead and pull the bumper.
