Poor AM radio reception in 2008 SC430
I just got my SC430 a few months ago and absolutely love it with this one minor exception - very poor AM radio reception. My 2012 4 Runner and 2004 Tacoma both have excellent AM reception parked side by side with the SC. It's been 3 years since this string started. Has anyone found a solution short of replacing the radio? My power antenna seems to be working as designed - it goes up and down depending on the band tuned into. THANKS!

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I recall a thread that indicated that if the antenna is unplugged, you might get some FM reception but you will get no AM reception?
If that is correct, then antenna is not the problem.

Thanks for the suggestion to trouble shoot by disconnecting the antenna. I'll give it a try, but my money in on the radio itself being the problem. Any other solutions out there?
