Lights in the trunk?
I noticed the other day that it was pretty dark inside the trunk of my 2003 SC430. I see that one of the two lights in the trunk is not working. How hard is it to remove the bad bulb and replace it? I am hoping that it is just a burned out bulb and not something worse! Thanks!

You can check it with a voltmeter to see if it is receiving voltage. It could either be bad bulbs or a bad fuse. (You can check the bulbs with an Ohm-meter. The bulbs ought to show as a very low impedance, not quite a short, just not an open.) You can also replace the incandescent bulbs with LEDs so you don't have to worry about the trunk not being fully latched and draining your battery because the lights are on where you can't see them.

In fact, replace all your incandescent bulbs with LEDs. They sell whole package on Ebay and Amazon. I did mine and love it.

Swap the two light fixtures around.
left to right and right to left...I mean unplug the fixture and move it to the other side.

Hey guys, I just changed the trunk lights to LED the other day and I popped the entire structure out with the plastic removal tool.
They look similar to the door lights.
Then removed the lens, changed the light bulbs, replaced lens, plugged back in and pushed the light structure back in the trunk panel.
