This is the best way I have have found to hold an Iphone 7 in any of the vehicles I have had. Works especially will in the SC 430. I got it at Pep Boys for $12.95. It comes with 2 sets of vent clips, (I use the shorter one) and a sticky mount I did not use. Takes a couple of seconds to mount it securely. Now I just drop in the Iphone and pull it out, easily with one hand. The Nav cover opens and closes with no problem. If you use Samsung, this will not work. Iphone 7,6,5... works great.

 

Good find! So it clips on the vent and it rests on the leather? Meaning there is no stress on the vent blades? Perfect location too!

 

Great location, but I imagine you would not be able to use the phone while driving since the home button and lower half the screen are blocked by the plastic casing.

 

I do use it while driving. It easily lifts out of the holder to get to the button. I use Siri a lot. On IPhone 7, hey Siri works without touching the phone. Also, I do not use a case.
