Replaced Third Brake Light, warning still on
I just replaced the over priced trunk third brake light on my 2005 SC430 and see the rear warning light is still on in my dash board.
When I first start the car in park, No Indictor light, the moment I put it in reverse to come out of the garage it's on!
Reverse lights look strong and fine!
Does this have to be reset in the system or is there a light I'm missing, although I've checked all rear lights and can't see any that are out.
Wow this has really been a pain in the rear!!!!

Did you check the lights when the brake pedal is pushed?
did someone install LEDs instead of incandescent?

Have you tried taking off the battery to reset?
Do you have Techstream? It might tell you what’s wrong.

Thanks guys for the response.
No I don't have Techtools to do a diagnostics on the system and the system has had no custom bulbs replaced.
The brake lights appears to be all on when the foot petal is pressed.
The third light was a led strip to my surprise, not bulbs in there to replace unfortunately.
I guess I could replace the tail light to see if there partially faulty?
