It is better to get wet than get a door dent......... I often park on the street outside parking areas when I go shopping.

I park in the back away from all other cars. It saves my 430 and the walk to my destination hopefully will save me.

For as long as I can remember, I've parked all my cars in an end spot, as close to the line as is safe. I've been so **** about this over the years, my wife and kids do this now without even thinking about it. I freaking hate inconsiderate arseholes who give you door dings.

The worse is when you see there are parking spots everywhere
and yet some ^^ still would park right next to you

Nice to see there are others out there who appreciate their cars and treat them accordingly. I too park all my cars well away from everyone. The wife is in agreement with me but often asks me to drop her off before I park.

thought I bring this one back by popular demand?

I think parking far away from the Target 'moms' and Costco 'families' should be law for Lexus SC owners!

Afterall, we are holding onto the true "jewel of lexus"

Some people just don't have respect for other people's properties. My truck has been scraped and run into while parked, but no ever left a note.

When I park, I always center within the parking space.

I try to find a space with a curb on one side and then park as close to the curb as I can. Then hopefully, I'm only exposed on one side and on the rear. (Of course this space will also be far away from the rest of the cars, at least until I park there and I'll come out and find several other cars parked near me.)
