Default Navigation System

Have had my 2007 SC 430 for about 90 days now. The original set up CD is still in the plastic wrapper-never used. I assume the system has never been set up and never updated. Where should I start, and does the dealer have to do the updates? I don't know that I'll ever use it much since I like the I Phone for this. Thanks.

The map updates are on the disc. I think the last update for our system was 2015. If you want an update you have to get a new disc.

Suggest you look on ebay for update disks instead of paying sky high dealer prices. Disc update instructions are a diy process. Eject old disk and insert new disk and follow on screen prompts for initial setup. Search "Navigation update" for multiple threads on this topic.
