Question O.Z. Antares Wheels?

Just got the silver/saddle last week and am thinking of getting the O.Z. Antares chrome wheels from tire rack.com to replace the dinner plates. I like the looks on the website, but would like to see them in person before buying. Has anyone seen them on an SC 430 or other vehicle or know where they carry them in Los Angeles?

Also, I don't know a lot about cars (I just drive them, I don't know what makes them work). Is O.Z. a good brand? Thanks.

Not my first choice for a wheel for the SC430 since I think the SC430 needs a wheel with a pronouced lip front and rear to give it more presence.. Anyways here is a pic of the wheel you are looking at which does look better that the dinner plate specials but then again you can save money and just wait for the replacement plate covers too.. As for quality just pose your question in the wheels forum and the guys in there will be most helpful.. Personally I haven't heard anything bad about the quatlity.. Just my 2 cents.. Hope it helps!

OZ is a good brand, however, my choice for the SC would be their Opera series. Check out this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=85614

Thumbs up

Thanks for the input guys. The pictures help a lot. I understand most people like the fuller look and the Opera II does look good - much better than the dinner plates. I am one of the exceptions and just prefer the less full look - I also like the multi-spoke wheels like BBS RX (i think that's right)...but I would like to see the Antares or similar on an SC in a better picture than on tirerack.com. I'm definitely not good at visualizing and I've made some pretty hideous choices matching shapes and colors in the past - just ask our interior decorator.

Speaking of bbs I had lightweight RC's staggerred on a BMW 7 several years ago and it looked great. I also have seen the RC on NSX staggerred.

yes.. I agree a dish/deep dish is a better look for the SC430 but some of the 5 'fatter' spoked MM wheels look very good too!

I do get compliments constantly on my staggered SSR GT3s which have a bigger lip in back than in the front... I think it is 1" front and 2" back... 10x19 back and 8x19 in front if I remember correctly.... I forget...
