Anyone know anything about Trunk Cables or Dealer Part Diagrams?
I am not sure how, but the steel cable in my trunk broke.
It is the cable that connects the trunk latch to the right side convertible top hinge.
It has a white sheething under the latch, turns to black sheething, and runs along the back of the car, goes into the side pocket well and then up to the hinge where it changes back to a white sheething.
I am trying to buy a replacement. Can anyone tell me which cable it is in this picture?

Here is a picture of the actual cable. It is the one with the white ends and the metal rod at the end.

I'm struggling with this one. I bought a repair manual online and cannot find the exact cable. Worst case, you go into dealership parts department and have them look it up for a price quote. It probably won't be an easy part to find and perhaps the dealership may be your best bet for purchasing it unless you get lucky online.

Try your local body shop. They have car parts diagram and can buy any part.

I think it is part number 10 anyone want to second that? Part 64535-24010. Tried to google just the part number, but still can't get a better picture. I guess it is off to the dealer I go
