Talking Daddy got a new pair of shoes!!!

I just mounted them today:

20 x 8.5 Kaizer Phoenix II's
Hankook Ventus K104's size 245/35-20

I hope you guys like them!!

Whoa........really nice ! Did you drop the suspension as wel? It looks like it a bit.

I didn't touch the suspension. Thanks to Gene's Miata Tire Size calculator I discovered my 245/35/20 tires are 4% larger in circumference than the OEM 245/40/18s which throws the speedo off but fills in the wheel well very nicely. Thanks for the nice comments.

They look very nice.. One suggestion maybe look at getting 25mm H&R spacers for the rear to fill in the wheel well.. Just a thought.. Keep up the good work!

I was surprised but the ride is much better than the bridgestone runflatz. The 245/35 profile in't that bad but I still need to watch out for potholes. I was surprised by how nicely they fit onto the hub w/ the lugnuts. I roadtested the car as soon as I mounted them and at all speeds up to 140mph the car rides better. One complaint is the Hankook Ventus K104's - they are a little loud on cement highways. On asphalt they are okay but cement a little noisy-i guess it is the "V" tread pattern.

indeed they are, but the only thing is that you can't really lower them.....
