I'm selling my 02 sc430 and a potential buyer asked if an 06+ transmission will bolt on to the existing flywheel. Anyone know?

It should. As long as you have the ECU for that transmission.

Seems like you might need the shifter too. The lights on the dash might be wrong.

I really don't see any problem with the 5 speed transmission
in fact I love it

WS six speed has a lower rear end gear ratio to go with it. Better off the line

I don't think this is or ever will be a great off the line car and i don't think anyone buys it for that
at 90 it barely touches 3k rpm and that's its strong point
i have to drive it in 3rd to have fun on a canyon drive, but then its totally fun, but if you want really fast car this isn't it

0-60 in 5.8 seconds is not really fast anymore as was stated but just enough beans to be fun at times.

I do have fun at lights as the off the line pull is fun on our 08.

raced a wrx with a giant wing and stickers all over it. Jumped him off the line then he pulled me through each gear as he should.

but he lost the cool side as our top was down and his was up.
