Hey congrads on a fun car!
Now, here's some advise.
1) Get the front end protected with what is sometimes called a "Clear Bra" or paint protection film from vendors such as Xpel, Armorglove, Stoneguard etc. I had mine less than 15 days, not a daily driver and got several chips. See my post "Paint". You really cannot see them, and looks a lot better than a strap-on black one! The paint seems brittle, so be warned on this. I have Armorglove installed on the hood, bumper, lights, area on the fender by the lights called "wing", rocker panels, side mirrors and door cups for those nasty fingernail scratches that are a PITA to remove!
2) Ditch the Run Flat Tires (RFT) and get a set of Michelin Pilot Sports. Yes they are regular tires, you'll need a spare or use Lexus roadside assistance. Ride is SOO much better!
3) Into detailing? Want the best info on what to use? Go to Autopia.org for info in detailing and products.
4) Some people have installed the remote top from a vendor listed on this forum. I may have to get one!
5) Drop the top, and enjoy a fine car and all the looks you will now be getting!
Regards,
Deanski
