Great project. Now move on to the stubby antenna conversion! Let's dump the telescope!

Anyway, great job. I've done this on my 1st Gen GS years ago and on a Pontiac, and this definitely seems like more work due to the design of the seat.

Update: After about a 10 minute drive I tried the seat warmers.
They still work!!
But it was not super warm. I will try it for a longer period and see if they warm up more.
The leather has a foam pad which is much thicker which could be causing the problem.
Also keep in mind its about 80 degrees here too.

Leather seat replacement
Re: TriniLex--- great Post on seat replacement..... Wish you were local!
Does anyone have or can you recommend an installer in Houston to replace seats or seat covers on 2002 sc430--- Ecru...... Looks like Leather Seats .com might be the source of the covers but I do not think I am up to the task of DIY..... Thanks

New Replacement Leather Interior
The seat Leather arrived and I began the replacement today. It has been a long process because I work slow, LoL Will try to document the process and take plenty of pics.
here is the beginning.
if you have questions, ask away...
hopefully, the drivers seat will be completed tomorrow!
here is where I purchased from. Yang doesn’t sell on Amazon anymore (3-4-2020)

I want everyone to know this guy, Yang Hu is honest and the leather is good quality, but it can take a few weeks for the leather to show up.
Yang does not like to answer many questions and he will not answer the phone. Customer service is not his thing...
i purchased new, replacement SC430 front seat covers and rear headrests from Yang and all was good.
i then sent him my front seat covers from my EX-L Accord...they will finally arrive tomorrow, 20 Aug. The whole process took 3.5 months. He had these seats copied and I think it all happens somewhere in Asia.
NOTE: if you are just ordering the replacement seat covers found on Amazon or lseat.com, the process should be no more than four weeks.
i am not telling you to not use him, just letting you know that patience will be your best friend.
Nice match
Good match

Remove the seats and old leather...
just remove the bolt covers and the four bolts holding the seat.
NOTE: before you disconnect power to the seat, raise the seat and move it forward about half way. This will give you room to access the two screws on the front trim piece.
WARNING: Discconect the battery before you disconnect the yellow airbag connector under the seat.
The switch ***** on the side of the seat were removed with the small pry tools.

The handle slides right off.

Don’t remove these bolts...
They are for the seatback and don’t need to be removed.
This gold bolt must be removed for the seat bottom removal. One on each side and two on the bottom.

Slide this clip off, then remove the material and reattach the new seat cover...
