Hi,

Today, the leather on my steering wheel got torn. It's on the upper left side almost to where leather meets the wood, the place where you push your palm against to rotate the wheel. The condition of the leather on that side has always been poor since I got the car. Now, there's a 1cm cut.

Anyone knows where I may be able to get leather that look the same (preferably already cut to the shape) to wrap myself? Or could I just glue it and drive as is?

any decent upholstery shop should be able to do it.

I've done some follow up on the leather on the steering wheels. Most upolstery shops won't touch it. The one's i visited said they can't make it look like original as it's pressed leather onto plastic and then glued. They didn't want to attempt. Thus I found a better option... check the link below. Please keep us posted on anything else you find out.
