It turns out that splicing bumper covers isn't that hard. While it is not Easy, it is not that bad for a bodyguy to do.

100% agree. I will not buy a new Lexus until they change the horrible looking "spindle style" grill to a more elegant design than the current silly looking abomination. It is a bad look on all the cars including the LS, but it is really bad on the RX Suvs.
