SC430 Selling Frustration
Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you have had any trouble selling a SC430? I am having a devil of a time getting mine to move. Since it is a convertible, do you think I should wait for springtime??
Any help is greatly appreciated.

the car looks good!
take a look at other car ads and replicate what they are doing.
give it a month or two and once it is top down weather, it will sell!

I would try listing it on another site. According to CarGurus you are asking $1700 too much. It is never a good thing when your listing website is working against you.

Lack of detailed pictures. The price is a couple thousand higher than the comps in your area. The lack of service history since 60 thousand miles. The lack of a real honest description. No car with 100 k plus is perfect. Point out what is good specifically . Point out any misgivings ( rock chips, tires have half their life left, etc). Be real that's what people are looking for from a private seller.

2007 with 100k miles, if it’s in the good shape (good care), reasonable price, you should not have any problem to sell this car, unless, of course it’s in bad shape.
I bought mine, same 2007, 56k miles, paid 1500 bucks higher than the norm, but did not mind because I felt in love with it at the first sight.
Get the car detailed, lower the price little bit, more good photos, more advertising then it will go. Good luck.

I live in Atlanta also... but we've had a pretty chilly winter! I have had several types of convertibles and after some really good spring weather... people kindof wake up and start looking in my experience. My 2010 Corvette conv went up in Feb of one year and I didn't get squat until end of March! Just say'in!

The beauty of the SC430 is that she can be both convertible and non-convertible.
I love her smooth, quiet like the LS (well, not quite), when roof closed and really enjoy her sporty, wind ruffing, road hugging convertible. I can't speak for the MB or other hard top convertibles, but the SC sure is better choice than any soft top roadster
Missed my LS, I am glad that the SC is perfect replacement for me.
