JDave, you mentioned that you had your tires road forced balanced to 45 mph? I didn't know that we could request a speed. Next time, I may ask them to do it at 55 mph since that seems to be the sweet spot (50 to 60 mph actually) of where the worst vibrations come from.

Hi Harold; I can't say if they can RFB by speeds; but, when the driver brought the car back she said that she had noted the vibration/bumpiness occurred at about 45 mph when she took it in and after balancing, the ride was now smooth and steady at those speeds. The wheels were smooth at speeds above that and below that both before and after; but definitely smoother now at all speeds. She said highway speeds can be better or worse due to faster spinning changing the tire shape at the same time there is less weight on the tires. I previously ( a few years ago ) had the slightest vibrations steadily at 65 mph and higher up to about 85 mph. Smooth now at those speeds. I guess a good tech would be able to manually tweak the balancing with the adhesive weights in certain positions of the wheel?
