....don't know any tips, other than research the paint/body shop you're considering. If you aren't in a rush, I would check out some of the local car shows & look at some of the paint work done to vehicles there. Black is a very tricky color to paint, so you want someone that can do the job right

from my own experience, many Toyota paint colors are of very high quality and Expensive. make sure they use the OEM type paint if you are going for the OEM look. Also be ready to shell out some serious money for that type of paint.

i live near Cocoa Beach which is too far to suggest anyone.

....I can't remember the member(s), but there are a few that have gone that route. I've been considering it myself and after I get a few financial obligations out of the way, I'm going to consider it even more seriously

anyone consider doing a wrap on the top only to give it a "vinyl top" look?

Hi nomods4me
I had my roof wrapped in Silver a few years ago just to be different and I love the look. I decided not to wrap the A pillars so that when the roof is down no Silver shows.
Cheers
Steve

I saw your car then, my car is silver with 20" chrome wheels, not able to decide between black or Chrome top.....
You did yourself?

Hi Prasha
It was done professionally by a local wrapping shop.
Cheers
