I searched and read some old post about this but,

I am wanting to replace center "pie pan" hub cap with the "star " type on a 2003 sc430
I see some on ebay but many do not state if metal or plastic.
Does any one know the best seller or place to purchase these?
anything I should watch out for on these? will the years 2001-2010 all have the same fit? (I see some separate 2001-2005 from the 2006-2010 years)

 

FACTORY ones are plastic. They were never metal You can find them on ebay I have seen them, for 100.00 for a set on ebay

 

 

You will also need 10 screws per hub cap + the lug nuts. Be carful on buying the 10 x 4 = 40 screws some of the vendors charge a lot of money for the screws I have seem some vendors selling for 6.00 each shop around before you buy . There is a set of 4 on ebay of the hubcaps for 86.00

 

I purchased mine on eBay last year for about $100 IIRC. Recently, however, I noticed the Lexus logo was loose on 3 of the 4 units. it seems there is little more than glue holding the Lexus logo on. I am thinking about purchasing separate center caps for about $15-16 where the logo is secured much better (see below) and drill out just that area on the hub cap. We'll see.

Overall though I am very happy with the purchase and would purchase them again.
