Thoughts about these IS350 Wheels on an SC430
What do y’all think about these wheels on the SC430?
the ad says they came off a 2014 IS350...
Using the specs below, can I put the same size tire all the way around?
i want to use the existing 245/40/18 Tires currently are on the SC430 right now.
Model: OEM Lexus IS350
Front Size: 18x8
Rear Size: 18x8.5
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3 - 5x4.5
Front Offset: +45mm
Rear Offset: +50mm
Centerbore: 60.1
Finish: Silver

I have been looking at those same wheels. What throws me off is the size differential.
The whole 18 X 8 fronts and 18 X 8.5 rears is weird to me?
Do you need wider tires in the back? Is the extra size on the inner side of the tire, or the street side of the tire? Equally balanced?
Is it because the tires don't have to turn in the back, you can utilize wider tires?

When I rotate the tires, will the car look funny with the wider wheels in the front or will it not be noticeable?

Not sure that staggered set up wheels and tires can be rotated. You can of course take the tires off the wider rear wheels and mount those on the narrower fronts. A type of rotation .

Thanks everyone for the feedback!
it looks like my current tires, which are stock size, 245/40-18 will fit nicely on the 18x8 and 18x8.5. But like someone said, I will need to rotate the tires and not the wheels.

My guess would be that if the tires are all the same size, you should be able to rotate them. Even though the wider rims can handle wider tires, your stock sized tires are uniform and therefore they should clear the wheel well when you turn.

So do you think it would be okay to rotate the fronts to the back and vice versa with those offsets?
i kinda think so, but not sure...

I have the following wheels on my SC430 and nothing rubs, no contact with callipers, guards or dampers. They do not negatively affect the ride quality in my opinion. Not sure if this adds to the conversation but just sayin' .............
2016 Lexus RCF Rims
Front: 19 x 8" +45 offset Potenza 235/40/19
Rear: 19 x 9" +65 offset Potenza 265/35/19 (the wider rears look cool from behind and puts a bit more rubber on the road to make use of all that torque)
