Did the 21&24 code come up when the vehicle was not in a sunny area, i.e. in a garage?

Did you really go though the thread, because this was there too. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/att...t-location.pdf. Page two of the pdf lists the fuses and relays to check.

did not know relays were there. had to take apart the carpeting to get to passenger acc relay. it was really rusty, replaced it, still no blower fan. will for the driver's ig1 relay. dreading it is the ac amplifier.

Getting the control panel out of its mounting is not difficult, there are several pressure clips holding the one piece assembly in place. There are also three connector blocks (not shown) attached at the rear. Just pull the whole assembly straight back, wiggling left right up down. There is a leather trim across the top that comes with it. But there are few serviceable parts unless you’re like some of our members who can service down to the components level of circuit boards.

It may be smarter to get a DTC reader or stop by an auto parts store that offers the reader service. While the self diagnostic is convenient, it is not complete. That pervious thread I mentioned mirrors your problem.

The other thread with the blowermtr.pdf has the circuit schematic.

Yes. Points to the passenger side J/B ECU communication stop for more than 10 seconds. The potential trouble areas:
  1. Passenger side J/B
  2. Wireharness (which includes grounds)
First thing I would do, since you’ve already found rust/deterioration of a relay, is carefully inspect all block connections, on both sides of the connection, at the P/S JB and reseat. Then move on to continuity and grounds. It going to take time to run this down.

Happy to help!

Thank you for taking the time to share your troubles with all of us. This way we all learn about the problems and the solutions. Did you discover the source of the moisture which caused the corrosion? Or at least an easy way to inspect it? And what you did to correct it?

Was the car ever flooded?
