Please advise!
Hi Friends, Happy Friday!!!
Ok, I went to switch out my Rear View Mirror, I was able to easily release the mirror. Problem, I could not figure out how to pop out the DomeLights's panel--so I could change Mirrors out! Yes, I tried, however I did not want to hack the plastic housing! Please help how to remove and pop out so I swap that rear view interior Mirror?
Help!! Thanks for your guidance!

As Harold57 said in a previous thread: “Also, I discovered that using a 1" putty knife makes removal of the dome lens much easier and doesn't mark up the fixture.” Yep, just need to get a pry tool, slip it between the lens and the case and pry the lens out.

Clarification Need Help on
Hi,
I can remove the plastic Lens without a problem. The guidance I need is where is the best location to remove the entire Housing that holds both dome Lights~~That whole unit needs to come out so I can unplug for the rearview Mirror removal!
Thank!!

Assuming you have already removed the screws. AND are using a plastic pry tool, there are two claws on the windshield and two more on the opposite side. Carefully push in and pry down on one long side, as it tilts out use your fingers pulling downward firmly but gently. There are wired modular connectors.
