Glass between rear head rests
Hey All recently purchased a 2003 and was wondering if this is supposed to retract with the top closed. (thought I saw a video of it down) Getting the windows tinted soon and know it won't be easy for the installer. Can't find any info on this.

You don’t need to remove the wind deflector for window tinning. Don’t tint the deflector, it’s hard to see behind at night.

not planning on tinting the wind deflector (wondered what it's called). I just thought it would be easier to install the tint with it out of the way

Easier would be to open the roof half way until the glass is vertical then stop. There's a balance point where it will stay and not shut/open. That's how most of us clean the inside of the rear window.

Anyone has a good source for the LEDs lighting for the deflector?

thanks JC again. The installer did just that and it looks great. My Lexus is black and with the dark tint I couldn't be happier. One of these days I'll post a pic of the Floridan SC.

Following in your footsteps Shawn,, just took my wind deflector off yest to get a new one cut out and have to take it to a trophy shop or something to get the etching done. Thinking about doing the same as you (although I don't wanna completely copy you) or maybe get the Lexus symbol and put SC430 next to it instead of Lexus. Your's is still the sickest one Ive ever seen, hopefully I can give you a little competition lol.
