As for rear o2 sensor replacement, get a quality Denso sensor. If you are good at soldering, you can pop the sensor harness grommet out of the car, pull some slack out of the vehicle, cut / splice / solder / insulate the 4 wires and push the splice back inside the car and seal the grommet in place. Faster than taking the console apart and safely away from the elements.
BTW, Lexus recommends you replace the rear converter if either of the front ones goes bad. Think the quote I got from Lexus was right around $4,000 for the driver front and center converters, including labor and small parts ( gaskets and nuts ).
I recommend you go with the OEM gaskets, they are more than the felpro ones but not that bad. I had problems with the felpro ones which caused me to buy that cat i didn't need
Official OEM parts are the way to go but be ready for some sticker shock. I needed my parts in a hurry to pass state inspection and got them from the local Lexus dealer. Think the total was right around $70 for the gaskets, nuts and bolts.
Called my local Toyota place, total for 4 bolts/nuts and 2 gaskets $48.12
if the nuts and bolts are expensive, just pick some up at Lowe’s or Home Depot. They are going to rust regardless of what type you purchase. Find some 8.8 or better hardware.
defently purchase Lexus gaskets.
also, wire brush/wire wheel the rust.
