engine and I think you are going to be happy to

When I walked in, I see the SC430 right smack in
the main lobby on display. They also had the “ Originsl
LS 430 “ on display AND... the car had 500K and still
look looks me it came off the showroom floor.

That's incredible and it just goes to show you how these cars get more and more respect as time goes on. These will definitely be a classic! Also, the quality and reliability of Lexus is next to none.

After six weeks or so, I am astounded at the attention this car gets. In a parking lot awash with angular sedans and towering SUV's and pickups, I get complimented daily, it seems, on the SC. It's not only a credit to the original owner for keeping it in the shape it's in, but also a testament to the design. I think when it was introduced it was toward the end of the jelly-bean era, so it was maybe derided somewhat at the time. But after a decade and a half, to my eyes anyways, it just gets classier looking.

This is not because I gave owned 4 SC’s but
Honestly if they made a brand new 430, I would
buy one in a heartbeat.

The 430 was a very unique car when it came out.
The lines were never” polorazing “ like the new Spindle
grill but it was different. The 430 had a low belt line
and very interesting look from the rear and the side profile.

We will never know if the SC430 will become a Iconic
Lexus but all indication is it is starting to have a very
strong car enthusiast following. Look at the showroom
Picture I saw right in a Lexus dealer lobby !

It reminds me of a bathtub Porsche when the top is down.
It's timeless.
Destined to be a classic.

I don't like the debadged look. Sorry.

Me too! Doesn't really fit the image of the car, but looks good nevertheless!

I think the early SCs are frumpy looking (like the early LS430s) but they really got them right as time went on with the upgrades.
