Default New Owner, thank you to the Forum

I want to thank all you folks who have written to the forum with information on various issues. I became interested in the SC430 as my winter car in Palm Springs a couple of months ago. I've been lurking and reading many of the threads on the forum and I've really enjoyed it. Because of what I've learned I realized what a find I came across, and I purchased it. 2002, Red, Ecru, 139,000 miles. I would have been afraid of a car with this many miles, but when I reviewed his records he'd fixed every problem that's been mentioned on the forum, and I'm a happy new owner.

I'll replace the run-flats, probably with the Barum Bravurus 3HM tires mentioned in another post. (I'm 70 and don't push the car, or anything else, very hard). Replace the original wheel covers with twisties, replace the original radio with something modern that has Apple CarPlay, and I think I'm done.

When we picked up the car in San Diego we drove it back to Palm Springs via the Palomar Mountain Loop ( http://sellmotorcyclesforcash.com/5-...mountain-loop/ ) , and the Palm to Pines Highway (
). It was a hard day of great driving, spectacular sights and a great road trip. I'm sure I was smiling all night in my sleep.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your acquisition. The cat definitely had a great vantage point. Looks like a fun drive.

How do you like the Pioneer radio? I'm looking for recommendations for my SC430. I use an iPhone and I'm looking forward to Apple CarPlay with Google Maps on the top screen on my car.

Am I correct you were asking me? or Harold?

If it’s me, here is a link to the installation of my radio.

I installed a BueTrip Bluetooth adapter (plugs in on the power source inside your console box (armchair) after I installed a Vaistech SL2U adapter. I basically have my audio input there and I have Bluetooth. I use the AUX (on the Stereo) to get my Bluetooth.

Congrats and hope you enjoy your car! Love the kitty companion! I had to rewind to make sure I saw what I saw there.
