If you are referring to the cable that comes out of the rear view mirror when it is loose, the connector is on the driver's side of the hole in the headliner. Just match shapes and plug it in.

Welcome to the forum.

Hey Harold,
Is it as easy as opening the light assembly to access the plug? I see in this picture there is a spot for the mirror cable to go through the headliner and end up right under the lights.

Is that where you plug it in?

For some reason Chrome is not showing the picture you mentioned. To remove the mirror assembly, you pop off the two map light covers (use a 1" putty knife and pry from the sides). From there you will see two Philips head screws (one on each side). Remove those two screws. Then you can pull down on the assembly. IIRC, there may be a couple of clips in the front of the assembly to help hold the assembly in the headliner after the screws are out. Just press them in and pull down and somewhat towards the windshield to remove the assembly from the headliner. The cable from the assembly goes towards the driver's side and plugs into the receiving cable up in the headliner on the left (driver's side). There is a little locking tab on the connector that you have to press down to separate the two connectors. (When you plug them back in together, you just push them back together. The locking tab will automatically move out of the way.)

Is that what you need?
