Seeking advice: How much do you think It is worth?
After many years of ownership, I am going to be parting with my beloved 2002 SC430. I am planning on selling it privately versus trading it in. I was hoping this group might be able to give me some advice as to how much to sell it for and where to list it.
It it is a 2002 Black/ecru with 55k miles and a near perfect paint job (thanks in large part to Xpel films being on the hood and front bumper). It has a clean (not perfect but very good) interior and all maintenance is current including new TB/Wp/idlers/plugs/brakes/rotors. runs perfect and has updated Tourmaline wheels with 1 year old Michelin tires. I also have Nokian snow tires mounted on the original rims as well. All speakers have been replaced with factory components and a kenwood GPS Head unit with a beat sonic interface
Whatbis a fair selling price and how should I go about listing it?
thanks in advance,
Michael

Nice to hear stories of a win-win situation. Part of the process of selling a car is the realization that the future owner will take care of your baby, makes it easier to part with the car.

I think you got a great price for the car. On KBB, with an "excellent" condition inputted (less than 3% of cars qualify for that) they claim $8,750, so that's $6,250 pure profit for you.

I am not sure what you entered, but the KBB private party sale value is actually $12685-$15396 for very good condition. I suspect you entered the mileage incorrectly but not sure. With the upgraded radio, wheels, and snow tires we settled on $15000 as a good deal for all.
