I've had a frustrating experience with my last 2 orders from Rock Auto.
Ordered a full set (4) of TPMS sensors. The box contained 3 of them that were the newer numbers/ epoxy filled back with the color stamped on the sensor and 1 was definitely old stock, faded box and a hard plastic backing on the sensor. I sent the whole order back.
Next order was a set of front strut top mounts. Again, one KYB box is shiny and obviously new, the other identical part was in a faded, old box and the part coated with a oily dust substance, almost as if someone used it and then returned it.
Because this seller is automated online, there's basically no one to talk to if you have an issue although the return process is pretty easy.

I agree, the return process is simple, just puts things off for days since I had to reorder.
Thanks for the post on TPMS you did. I also ordered my sensors recently from the Ebay Lexus dealer and they were all 4 updated parts w/ the new numbers.
