$120Aprox

Then get the tech from Expel or Suntech to come
by. Your lamps will never look like crap.

On all my cars, I never wait till there are yellowing
snd hazing . Once you polish, the UV factory sealer
generally is gone so it turns yellow
Well, when I bought my 02, the headlights had a film, not sure what it was but maybe what you're talking about. That film was partial on there, some peeled off or weathered off, looked like crap, I had to wet sand it off, at the same time I polished them.
I don't think that film lasts forever, you'll have to eventually wet sand it off.
I've also seen this clear bra craked/dryed out on the front of a car, it looked all hazy with cracking all over it.
That stuff is just like leaving a sticker on your car and never take it off. I just wax the headlights and once a while wipe them off with Windex and rewax, no problems here. I use Protectall.
just my 0.02 cents.

Hi there

I have to disagree. The film I am referring is a “ clear car bra “ from EXPEL ,3M or Suntech
All of these are high performance film protection which is Warrenty for 10 years and their properties
are crystal clear and can also withstand scratches, rock debris and also heal itself.

Of course if you abuse anything, they will wear down. If you google “ Paint Protection Film “
for cars you will see the technology behind these film protection.

One of my best friend work at the Ferrari dealership and these cars are 250k+ to 350K
and almost all new Ferrari’s owners ask for Sunteck car film bras.

I have the Suntech all of my Lexus and they are the best $150 investment you can mske
on your headlights . A clear wrap on the hood, fender will set you back $1,500 if you
are using the best installer .

So no , I encourage all SC owners to get them . Your SC will thank you

oh ok, I'm not knocking it, 10 yr warranty. What happens to the product when it expires? How do you replace it? That's my worry, goo-gone?

Hello Roho

It doesn’t “ expire”. What I am trying to say is
the film is not junk and does not peel off or get
cracked as you mentioned. What you are referring
to are Films that were 15 years old with 15 years of
past technology.

If you google “ Suntech and Expel “ , you can read up
on it. Google is your friend.

I have no horse in the race and I just want my friends
to get the same results.

I've had a clear bra on my front end for around 8 years and other than the spot that got buggered up when I bumped a "hidden" obstacle in the garage, you pretty much can't even tell that it is there. I just don't have the headlights covered.

I just put Suntech Ultra on my girl friend's Corolla's hood. It was the first time for me doing anything like this. I made a few correctable mistakes here and there, but I'm satisfied. It was a learning experience.

Now I will put it on my SC in the near future.

Hey guys

I am glad you guys drank the koolaid

As mentioned in my earlier messages,
the “Suntech “ are the best film on the market.

Unless you are a car franatic, not too many
owners know about the “headlight film”.

The reason is because most technican prefer
to do the entire front and not just the head lights
for obvious reasons ( the technican don’t make a living
just doing the head lights). I elect not to do the entire
front just yet but if you get the front done, it will
protect your hood, bumpers from scratches, chips
And even withstand small dings/debts. This film
technology is amazing.

My black SC has the entire front and mirrors covered. I might just cover the whole car later. The good thing about putting the protection film on a black car is it prevents swirl marks on the paint during washing and drying. Swirl marks are easily seen on a black car.

A rock hit the front bumper, but it only caused a little wrinkle on the film. I heard that the film is self-healing by using a heat gun, but I haven't tried.

MH

Bingo! For a black car, get your SC detailed and do
a paint correction if warrented . Then get the wrap for
the hood, front and fenders. You will never get any swirls
On your car.

My buddy use his keys on his Porsche hood and
went over the hood as if someone was scratching
the hood and it did not make one scratch into the clear
coat.

The film is “ self healing “ to heat. Guys, this stuff
is really amazing

Guys

remember unless you do this for a living, pay an expert who
puts the film on the lights. It will cost you $40-$50 for their
tine but it will look much better.

There will be no bubbles and will be well worth it.
and finally after you polish your lights , add the UV
Sealer on the lamp. And you are gone !
