Default Abs brake vsc & battery light on

Recently my ABS, Brake, VSC ON and OFF, and brake light have been turning on while driving in the freeway. Usually it starts by the battery light beginning to flash once or twice then it would mute any music playing and if i have the top is down it will make a chime noise. After that all the ABS, Brake, VSC ON and OFF, and brake lights turn on. when i turn off the car and turn it back on all the lights go away. Couple weeks ago i got a new battery and new front tires and put the older ones in the rear. Initially i thought it was the alternator but i ran the car and disconnected the battery and it didn't shut off. I heard it might be because i rotated the tires or the wheel sensor is going bad, How do i figure out which sensor is out or do you guys have an idea what is the problem?

it still sounds like an alternator going bad or a defective battery...don’t disconnect the battery with the car running. You may destroy the ECM.

measure battery voltage after it sits for a few hours, then measure voltage again with the engine running.

BTW, what year and model do you have?

you can add that info to your signature like many of us have done.

I agree with BGW. Sounded like battery/alternator problem.

Charging voltage across the terminals should fall between ~12.4+ Volts. Anything lower means the Alternator is going bad. Agree on - do not take off the battery terminals and wait for the car to die thing…

Watch this video on how to test your alternator, OR take it to an auto parts store. Most stores will hook up your battery to a testing machine and give you the results for free

This could also be the result of bad power cable connections. I'd start at the battery by removing and cleaning both the battery posts and their cable clamps with a battery post wire brush. But agree with all the suggestions above also.

im at 115k currently, I just bought a voltmeter and checked the battery according to the video. The battery was at 12.6v before I turned it on and around 14.6v car running with a/c on, radio and headlights on.
However I was hearing a hissing noise that I’ve noticed the past couple of times I’ve driven in the freeway and it gets louder as I accelerate. It might have to do with the alternator like the video mention. What else can I test before I replace the alternator? I’m going to try to clean the battery terminals and see if that helps.

Having just read your original post, it sounds like your alternator might be having problems at high speeds.

Go to one of these links and find the closest store. https://www.oreillyauto.com/ https://www.autozone.com/

Ask them to check your charging system. They will do it for free. If there is no problem with your charging system, ask them if they will obdii scan your car for codes. They will also do this for free. Though they can't check for Lexus specific codes, a bad wheel sensor should show up on their equipment.
