Fan sound in rear

Fan sound in rear
I was in my sc430 with radio and AC off.
i noticed when engine running I could what sounds like a fan sound hum from the rear
i thought it could be the Dvd gps that I do not use
antenna that I do not use
or maybe the convertible motor
i popped the trunk but could not determine that location of the sound
when I turn the car off I can hear the sound winding down. Almost live a computer DVD player
any my thoughts on this?

It could be the fan in the power amplifier in the trunk. It is located next to the NAV DVD player. They have been known to have fans that have gotten noisy and then go bad.
