HI all.
I've been wrestling with making consistent a connection with my newly acquired 2007 SC430 bluetooth and my iphone 8.
I did the pairing and they did link up successfully.
Nearly all the time, after i start my car, I see the screen message that the phone and bluetooth are connected.
About 50% of the time, after a while, the bluetooth connection is lost and won't reconnect unless I stop the car, turn it off, and re-start.
A times, my phone says it is connected, yet calls made from the screen do not go through.
What can i do?
I called a local high end car audio dealer and explained the problem. They said since the car has bluetooth, there is no module or kit to be installed to circumvent the vehicle's bluetooth.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Alan

I think it’s your phone, not your car. Try to reboot your phone.
