I took rear courtesy light bulb out on an rx 300 2001
When I took that bulb out, the inerior lights, central VDU, and the remote unlocking stopped working.
All fuses in each box are OK
Please will you tell how to get them working

Now that we got you pointed to the right forum, Can you tell us why you took the bulb out? Also do all the systems work again if you put the bulb back?

Since all those systems were effected, It sounds like when you were replacing the bulb, you blew a fuse. Possibly the new bulb is defective or one of the contacts touched something and grounded out.
If you have an owner's manual look up FUSES in the index. There is probably one fuse that handles all those features

Daryl, he said all the fuses are ok. I think it’s a case of reverse

Thank you Daryl
Did you try to replace it with the exact same bulb. or did you try to put in a new LED bulb? I tried the bulb I took out, and a couple of LEDs. None worked.
Since all those systems were effected, It sounds like when you were replacing the bulb, you blew a fuse. I wondered that, so I checked all the fuses. The dome fuse is good. There's 12.7v at either end of the fuse. Possibly the new bulb is defective or one of the contacts touched something and grounded out. They are as they should be as fart as I can tell

The display screen only works when the ign is on.
The dome light fuse has 12v at either end all the time.
I've checked every fuse in each of the two boxes.
They are each good.
I have to admit I can't understand how a circuit that only works when the ignition is on
goes out when I remove the bulb from a circuit that works whether the ignition is on or off.
I wonder if an ECU was damaged when I pulled the bulb out.
Do you know which ECU controls all three circuits please?

It sounds like your security ecu is damaged. It can happen if you put in the wrong LED.
If you want more info, you can google LED damage ECU.
You can also do a search and find a company that can fix the ecu for you

Why do you think it is the security ECU please?
