Default SC Bra

Installed one today that seems to fit nice and went on easy. Hope it helps with the rock chips I seem to be getting.

Came from Anything automotive. Brand is Colgan Apears to be well made
Keep trying but can get the pictures to upload

I would think its best to remove before a car wash. But I might leave it on . Don't think you have too. It will stay on. So it took about 15 minutes to put on the first time. I read the instructions and it went on pretty easy. I could now get it off in 5 minutes and back on in less then 10.
Really feels like its made nice with a felt type liner and good paint protection. Really lines up nice and clip went right in

If you leave it on during the car wash, what about the water sipping underneath the bra? Would it damage the paint?

Wink

The maker says it depends on the paint. If it has been repainted or does not have a good coating they recomend removing it. I will bet it will collect some dirt and I will be taking it off during some of the cleanings. Kind of like taking a shower with a rain coat on. Either way I feel better about getting less rock chips so the extra time remove it might be worth it.

I have had a Colgan since 2009 and it has held up very well. It goes on easily and I use it frequently when I am going to be on the interstate. My front end looks almost new on my 06. I have purchased front end covers from Lexus for years (they have been discontinued) and the Colgan is of the same quality. Lexus never made a cover for the SC so I looked elsewhere. I think they were moving to the clear bra at the time.

How much did you pay $181? I am seriously considering to get one. Last one I bought was for a Toyota Previa, back in 1980’s. I like it, it had the Toyota emblem on it too. Ships beginning of the year…let me see, nice little present for the SC!

You are welcome Took a few weeks to get it but I really like dealing with the company and felt like it would be a easy return if it didn't fix
