Default Opinions Please: Pearl White SC with chrome 18 TRD's

I would appreciate your thoughts on how these TRD's look. Can anyone tell me what the added value they might bring on a '02?

I will try to attach my first pic.

Thanks,

I absolutly love those wheels and considered getting them on my sc430. They come with the added benefit of being made especially for that car and will fit and work perfectly. The wheels alone retail for i think about $2300, so i would say that they would add about 2 grand to the price.

If anyone from Lexus reads this website please make these TRD wheels a factory replacement to the pie plates currently on the car.. Sheesh the car is like 100G CDN and the rims look like a child designed them.. Sorry just venting..

Nice rims golfkwesi any plans to lower your SC?

Nice wheels! When I appraise a car with chrome wheels I only add 250-500$ addt'l value. That is the standard in my area.

Yes, saddle interior. Thanks for all your comments. Also good to know that custom chrome rims only add a max. of $500!

I wanted to get a closer look at those wheels, so I "googled" the internet but could not find one instance of a wheel that even remotely resembled those in golfkwesi's pics. Is there a more specific name for these wheels other than simply TRD?

EdP,

They were referred as Toyota Racing Division but no other letters, etc. They are on an SC that I am considering purchasing. The owner bought it from a Lexus dealer that took it in on trade.

I think these rims might be a Lexus dealer option.

How much for the car? How many miles? If you want I can look up the service history for you with the VIN# and tell you what the car would be worth in my area. Lemme know.

TOO HIGH IMHO.... An SC430 with ONLY 7K miles just sold at a dealer here for $52K (at least it was ADVERTISED for $52K so it may have sold for less)

Maybe the market is higher in your location but I still think there is some room on price with 19K miles already!!!!!!

You can see a better pic of the wheels and read about them if you go to lexusparts.com and click on 2003 sc430 and then on chrome wheels.

OK on the white sc430. Date of First use is 11/18/2001. Factory Runflat car no spare. Last owned in Tempe AZ. Appears to have been owned 2 times already. Was sold second time certified with 7k miles. Rear bushing were changed 8/20/02. Customer had to have hubcentric rings installed becuase of vibration(balance). Has never had any service since 7k with Lexus. With this in mind as long as the vehicle has had no previous paint or body work I would pay 46500 (price drops alot after summer is over, before summertime I would only offer 44500)for the car and sell it between 50-52 at my dealership(houston,tx). I hope you find this info helpful.
